Job Summary:
The Shift Supervisor will oversee production and operational activities during the assigned shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations while supervising employees and coordinating with maintenance and management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise employees and plant operations during the assigned shift.
• Ensure production targets and operational requirements are achieved.
• Monitor plant performance, equipment condition, and production processes.
• Allocate duties and manage shift teams effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Monitor product quality and production efficiency.
• Maintain accurate shift production and operational records.
• Conduct effective shift handovers.
• Identify operational problems and implement appropriate solutions.
• Report shift performance, incidents, and challenges to management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy, Engineering, Production, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in a processing, manufacturing, mining, or industrial plant environment.
• Previous supervisory experience is required/preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
