Position: Power Electrician Number of Positions: 3 Location: Zambia
Job Summary: The Power Electrician will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical power systems and industrial equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and maintain electrical power systems and equipment.
Carry out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults and breakdowns.
Work on motors, switchgear, control panels, cables, transformers, and related equipment.
Conduct electrical inspections and testing.
Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Ensure electrical installations comply with safety and technical standards.
Respond promptly to electrical equipment breakdowns.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
Follow lockout/tagout and other electrical safety procedures.
Requirements:
Relevant trade certificate/diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation.
Appropriate electrical certification/licensing for industrial work in Zambia.
Previous industrial or plant electrical experience is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Good understanding of electrical safety procedures.
Ability to work shifts and respond to emergencies when required.
