Job Summary
- A Truck Technician/Engineer is responsible for ensuring that trucks and heavy-duty vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating efficiently.
Core Responsibilities
Inspection and Diagnosis:
- Conduct routine inspections of trucks and related systems.
- Diagnose mechanical,hydraulic, and pneumatic faults using diagnostic tools.
Preventive Maintenance:
- Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and component checks.
- Ensure vehicles meet manufacturer and company maintenance standards.
Repair and Troubleshooting:
- Repair or replace defective components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, steering systems, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot complex faults to minimize vehicle downtime.
Engine and Transmission Maintenance:
- Service and overhaul diesel engines and transmission systems.
- Carry out adjustments and calibrations as required.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure vehicles comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct pre-delivery and post-repair inspections.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Prepare technical reports and recommend corrective actions.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical guidance to operators and drivers on proper vehicle usage and basic maintenance practices.
- Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers for technical issues and spare parts requirements.

Acdemin Qualification
- Engineers: B.Eng, B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering
- Technicians: SSCE, Trade test 1, 2, 3
Required Experience:
