Job Details

Job Summary

  • The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, review, installation, testing, commissioning, and technical support of electrical systems for the Ethane-to-Polymers E2P Project.
  • The role ensures that all electrical systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review electrical engineering designs, specifications, drawings, and calculations.
  • Design and support High, Medium, and Low Voltage HV/MV/LV power distribution systems.
  • Review Single Line Diagrams SLDs, load schedules, cable layouts, and equipment datasheets.
  • Perform or review power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and cable sizing.
  • Support the specification, procurement, and technical evaluation of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors, VFDs, UPS systems, and generators.
  • Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Construction teams to ensure effective project execution.
  • Provide engineering support during construction, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and performance testing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree / HND in Electrical Engineering

Experience:

  • 6–10 years of electrical engineering experience in petrochemical, refinery, LNG, gas processing, or chemical industries.
