  • Manage and oversee security contracts, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards
  • Lead, train and supervise security personnel to maintain a high level of performance
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement security measures to protect assets, personnel, and operations
  • Liaise with clients, law enforcement, and other stakeholders to enhance security strategies
  • Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory and environmental compliance standards
  • Prepare reports, incident logs, and operational updates for senior management
  • Conduct investigations into security breaches and recommend corrective actions
 
Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:  
 
  • PSIRA certification – Grade A.   
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.   
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in security management, preferably in the smelter, mining, or industrial sector
  • Strong knowledge of security risk management, asset protection and incident response
  • Ability to manage large teams and handle high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and own transport
