About the Role

Tauro Mining Ltd is currently recruiting for experienced Riggers and Multi-Skilled Operators to join the team at Kansanshi Mine in Northwestern Zambia.

These full-time roles are critical to the safe and efficient handling of lifting, hoisting, and earthmoving operations supporting mining activities. Safety remains Tauro Mining Ltd's top priority.

RIGGER - 2 Positions

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rigging equipment to safely lift heavy loads
• Perform routine inspections to ensure rigging gear complies with safety standards
• Strictly follow company and mine safety protocols at all times
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, machine operators, and other team members to complete assigned tasks

Candidate Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Valid Silicosis Certificate
• Valid EIZ Certificate
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in rigging, preferably within mining or heavy industry sectors
• Possession of a valid rigging certification or equivalent qualification
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in challenging environments
• Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
