Qualified Diesel Technician (Mercedes Benz) Commercial Vehicles - Gauteng, Eastern Suburbs

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on commercial vehicles
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and fault-finding on mechanical and electronic systems
• Repair, replace, and overhaul vehicle components in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Complete all job cards, workshop reports, and warranty documentation accurately
• Ensure all repairs are completed within allocated labour times and quality standards
• Carry out vehicle inspections and road tests where required
• Maintain workshop equipment and tools in good working condition
• Adhere to dealership processes, manufacturer standards, and health and safety regulations
• Participate in technical training and remain up to date with product developments and new technologies
• Support workshop productivity and contribute to overall customer satisfaction

• Qualified Diesel Technician (Red Seal Trade Test essential)
• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a Diesel Technician within a commercial vehicle dealership environment
• Previous experience working on MERCEDES BENZ commercial vehicles Essential!
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience with electronic diagnostic equipment and manufacturer systems
• Valid driver's license (Code 14 advantageous)
• Computer literate
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
