Project Metallurgist

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Metallurgist to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing metallurgical projects, providing technical support to clients, conducting laboratory and plant trials, and driving business development within the mining and mineral processing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage metallurgical projects from proposal stage through to implementation.
• Conduct and oversee laboratory test work, including flotation, hydrometallurgy, settling, solvent extraction, electrowinning, and precipitation processes.
• Analyse and interpret test results and compile professional technical reports.
• Provide technical support and reagent optimisation solutions to clients.
• Conduct site visits, plant audits, trials, and performance assessments.
• Manage key client relationships and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate plant trials to validate laboratory findings.
• Support the development and testing of new products and applications.
• Contribute to product development initiatives through research, testing, and market evaluation.
• Maintain accurate technical, operational, and client records.
• Participate in ongoing technical and commercial training programmes.
