Plant Functions

• Ensure plant is always in a state of readiness for maximum operation
• Perform maintenance and repairs as and when required
• Ensure critical parts and spares always available and fully functional.
• Ensure all safety features are functional and entire plant is in a safe condition.

• Ensure plant is operational daily
• Ensure critical spares readily available
• Conduct Daily; Weekly; Monthly; Quarterly and Bi Annually checks as required by QMS
• Ensure all equipment that need to be calibrated, are calibrated and certified.
• Supervise maintenance assistant
• Adhere to all safety requirements as per policy and procedures.
• Ensure forklifts are in a safe condition and checklist are completed daily and signed off

• Purchase orders
• Ordering of spares, safety equipment, chemicals, lubricants, oils etc.
• Liaise with service providers, obtain quotes etc.
• Run SCADA report for month –end reporting
• Record water consumption
• Oversee operations of forklift & reach truck and the Compressors i.e. diesel consumption; maintenance and daily checklist.
• Receiving goods ordered- ensure Purchase Order available, to verify goods received, attach to invoice and submit for payment.
• General Administrative duties as required, checklists and reports.
• Documentary records MUST be maintained and filed systematically according to ISO procedures and be available for audits and inspection.
