Core Criteria:
- Proven managerial and leadership experience within hotel, hospitality, or premium retail environments
- Strong hotel, hospitality and retail sales background with a track record of driving performance
- Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Sound understanding of business acumen, service trends and retail operations
- Mature, professional, and personable; able to engage confidently with guests and staff alike
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organisational ability
- High computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Ability to lead multiple teams, manage walk-in services, and balance competing priorities simultaneously
- Neat, punctual, and consistently professional presentation
- Willingness and ability to work extended hours (08:00-21:00), including weekends and public holidays
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across service, retail and equipment functionality
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, quality and professionalism at all times
- Manage multiple teams and projects while ensuring efficient use of resources
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and core values consistently
- Recruit, train, mentor and evaluate staff performance
- Chair staff meetings, minute proceedings, and drive service and retail targets
- Handle disciplinary processes and personnel matters in line with company protocol
- Foster a productive, accountable, and positive working culture
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Drive a service culture aligned with the SAESTA philosophy (Smile, Acknowledge, Educate, Sell, Talk, Appreciate)
- Monitor sales performance, stock management and guest feedback
- Maintain accurate POS systems and operational reporting
- Accurately capture, verify and cross-check large volumes of data
- Maintain organised spreadsheets and generate operational reports
- Identify opportunities to innovate and sustain market leadership
- Represent the operation professionally at all times
