This full-time position involves the safe and efficient transportation of company staff, products, documents, and other materials as required. About the Driver Role at NTEMBA24 As a Driver at NTEMBA24, you will play a crucial role in supporting our logistics and transportation operations.
You will ensure timely and secure movement of goods and personnel across various locations, including stores, warehouses, and supplier sites. Your commitment to safety and vehicle maintenance will contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of our transport services.
Key Responsibilities for Driver Jobs in Lusaka Transport company products, staff, documents, and other materials safely and punctually. Coordinate timely collection and delivery of goods between stores, warehouses, suppliers, and designated locations.
Conduct daily inspections of the assigned vehicle, reporting any mechanical faults or maintenance needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness and good working condition of the vehicle.
Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies. Immediately report any accidents, damages, traffic incidents, or vehicle breakdowns to management.
Protect company property and ensure secure transportation of goods at all times. Candidate Requirements Valid Zambian Class C driver’s licence.
Minimum of two years proven driving experience. Strong knowledge of Lusaka roads and surrounding areas.
Clean driving record with a thorough understanding of road safety regulations. Ability to perform basic vehicle checks and identify mechanical issues.
Demonstrated honesty, responsibility, discipline, and reliability. Good communication and organisational skills.
Experience in retail distribution, deliveries, or logistics is an advantage.
