About the Role

Our client, a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions, is seeking a driven and ambitious District Sales Executive to join their Cape Town team.

This role is ideal for a results-oriented sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving targets in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of new and existing clients.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the forwarding and clearing industry.
  • Conduct client meetings and presentations to understand customer logistics requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored logistics solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and pipeline activity within the CRM system.
  • Build strong customer relationships and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPI requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the freight forwarding and clearing industry.
  • Proven track record in business development and sales.
  • Strong understanding of international freight, customs, and logistics solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Stable employment history.
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
