Role Purpose: The Branch Manager is responsible for leading branch operations, driving sales performance, delivering excellent customer service, ensuring operational compliance, and developing high-performing teams. The role also focuses on business growth, stakeholder engagement, and maintaining Bayport’s service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Drive branch sales performance and business growth;
Lead, coach, and develop branch teams to achieve targets;
Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns;
Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and regulatory requirements;
Manage branch operations, facilities, budgets, and administrative controls;
Build and maintain relationships with customers, employers, and community stakeholders;
Identify local business opportunities and support market growth initiatives.
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field;
Certificate of Proficiency in Long-term and Short-term Insurance (where applicable).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial services;
At least 2 years in a supervisory or branch leadership role;
Experience managing sales teams or branch operations;
Sound knowledge of unsecured lending and the Botswana market.
