Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Maintenance Manager in managing and maintaining all equipment, including concrete plants, mixer trucks, pump trucks, loaders, and other heavy machinery.
- Overseeing scheduled repairs, servicing, and inspections for the entire fleet and equipment inventory to ensure compliance and safety.
- Actively monitoring transport operations, including vehicle dispatch and the timely delivery of concrete to clients.
- Leading efforts in diagnosing mechanical issues and resolving equipment breakdowns quickly.
- Maintaining detailed records of maintenance schedules, repair histories, and operational status for all equipment.
- Liaising with external contractors and service providers when necessary.
- Implementing and sustaining preventative maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's Degree is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 5–10 years' relevant experience in maintenance management, fleet management, or heavy equipment maintenance.
- Experience within the construction, concrete production, manufacturing, mining, or heavy industrial sectors is highly desirable.
Salary Range: GHC 4,500 – GHC 6,000 per month
