Workshop Foreman

Budget Logistics is looking for a skilled and experienced Workshop Forman to join our team specializing in Volvo, Scania, and Zhohntong (Cummings) Trucks/Buses.

Key Responsibilities

·        Supervise mechanics and workshop staff to ensure efficient daily operations.

·        Plan and coordinate servicing, repairs and preventive maintenance.

·        Diagnose mechanical faults and ensure repairs are carried out correctly and on time

·        Ensure proper use and care of workshop tools, equipment and spare parts

·        Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing and maintenance schedules.

·        Report major mechanical issues and maintenance requirements to management

           Requirements

·        Grade 12 certificate or equivalent

·        Diploma or relevant qualification in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering

·        At least 3-5 years’ experience in heavy duty vehicles workshop, with supervisory experience

·        Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy-duty vehicles and vehicle maintenance

·        Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

·        Ability to work under pressure and meet maintenance deadlines

·        Valid driver’s license, preferably with experience driving heavy vehicles
