Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have a tertiary Agricultural qualification such as a B. Sc. Degree in Plant Production/Plant Science/Plant Pathology or similar field of study
- Sound knowledge of irrigation, crop protection, and plant nutrition practices
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Must have a valid driver's license with willingness to travel extensively throughout South Africa, including early mornings, late afternoons, evenings, and overnight stays when operationally required
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning seasonal trials.
- Planning trial layouts.
- Implementing trials.
- Evaluating trials.
- Capturing trial data and reporting trial results.
- Packing trial seed.
- Managing crops.
