Job Description:

• Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within an assigned territory
• Conduct face-to-face client visits to generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline
• Engage with residential and commercial customers to understand their energy requirements
• Present and promote renewable energy solutions tailored to customer needs
• Qualify opportunities and convert leads into new business
• Attend networking events, community activations, and marketing campaigns to generate new leads
• Maintain accurate customer information and sales activities using CRM systems
• Achieve weekly and monthly sales and new business targets
• Provide market intelligence and competitor feedback
• Work closely with the internal sales and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

 
Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in technical sales, external sales, field sales, or business development with a strong focus on hunting and new business generation
• Proven track record of prospecting, lead generation, and closing new business
• Experience selling technical, electrical, industrial, or renewable energy solutions is advantageous
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines
• Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory

 
Qualifications:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Qualification in Sales, Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is advantageous
• Relevant technical sales or field sales experience is essential
