Sustainability Coordinator

Sofap Ltd, one of Mauritius’s leading paint companies, invites applications from talented and motivated candidates for the following position :

 SUSTAINABILITY COORDINATOR

To focus on supporting and coordinating the company's sustainability strategy, environmental initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Support the Sustainability Manager in daily operations and sustainability projects.

·        Identify opportunities to improve the company's sustainability performance and recommend actions.

·        Build relationships with environmental NGOs, recyclers, and up cyclers to develop collaborative initiatives.

·        Coordinate sustainability programs across departments and with external stakeholders.

·        Work with the Marketing team to communicate sustainability initiatives internally and on social media.

·        Help collect, monitor, and report sustainability KPIs and performance indicators.

 SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

·        Knowledge of sustainability, environmental management, or corporate social responsibility (CSR).

·        Strong communication, networking and relationship-building skills.

·        Data collection, reporting, and KPI monitoring capabilities.

·        Initiative and problem-solving abilities.

PROFILE

·        Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related technical field in Circularity, Inclusivity

·        2 years’ experience in sustainability or related fields, with exposure to project execution and/or operations

·        Strong analytical organizational and leadership skills

·        Excellent communication skills
