Contract Type: 10-Month Contract (Renewable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds)
Stores Officer (1)
- Receive and inspect stock to ensure accuracy and quality, verifying deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders .
- Issue and register items from the stores to staff in compliance with distribution procedures and stores retrieval systems .
- Maintain optimal stock levels by monitoring usage trends and initiating timely replenishment .
- Carry out regular store reconciliations and annual stock taking, and prepare quarterly and annual stock reports .
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage conditions for all items .
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Grade 12 School Certificate
- Relevant Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification for the position applied for
- Valid registration and practising licence with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
- Relevant work experience as specified for the position
- Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills
- ZAQA-verified academic qualifications will be an added advantage
