Job Details

Contract Type: 10-Month Contract (Renewable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds)

Stores Officer (1)

  • Receive and inspect stock to ensure accuracy and quality, verifying deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders .
  • Issue and register items from the stores to staff in compliance with distribution procedures and stores retrieval systems .
  • Maintain optimal stock levels by monitoring usage trends and initiating timely replenishment .
  • Carry out regular store reconciliations and annual stock taking, and prepare quarterly and annual stock reports .
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage conditions for all items .

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant Grade 12 School Certificate
  • Relevant Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification for the position applied for
  • Valid registration and practising licence with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
  • Relevant work experience as specified for the position
  • Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills
  • ZAQA-verified academic qualifications will be an added advantage
