Minimum Requirements:

• Qualification in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Approximately 5–7+ years' experience in mechanical design, product development, manufacturing or engineering systems.
• Strong CAD experience, ideally using SOLIDWORKS.
• A solid understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, revision control, manufacturing processes and design release procedures.
• Confidence in working directly with customers, engineering managers and technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and project delivery skills.

Advantageous Experience:

• PDM, PLM, ERP or engineering data management systems.
• Drawing office management, CAD administration or design team leadership.
• FEA, CFD or other engineering simulation tools.
• Design automation, engineering templates, workflow development or process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering consulting and technical advisory services to customers.
• Assess drawing office practices, CAD environments and broader engineering processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve design workflows, CAD standards, revision control and engineering documentation.
• Support engineering data management, PDM and digital transformation initiatives.
• Assist with the implementation of SOLIDWORKS, SOLIDWORKS PDM, 3DEXPERIENCE and related engineering technologies.
• Develop and review CAD models, engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
• Apply practical Design for Manufacturing principles.
• Present technical recommendations and deliver demonstrations, workshops and training to customers.
