Senior Cloud & Advisory Consultant

The Senior Cloud & Advisory Consultant will lead strategic cloud engagements across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), providing expert advisory services to enterprise clients. The role focuses on cloud adoption strategy, migration planning, target architecture design, governance frameworks, and cloud operating models. You will act as a trusted advisor to both technical teams and executive stakeholders, bridging business objectives with scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cloud strategy and advisory engagements across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
  
• Define cloud adoption roadmaps, migration strategies, and transformation frameworks
  
• Design and review cloud architecture aligned to best practices (well-architected frameworks)
  
• Establish cloud governance models including security, cost management, and compliance
  
• Engage with C-level and senior stakeholders to align cloud initiatives with business goals
  
• Assess existing infrastructure and recommend modernisation pathways
  
• Support pre-sales activities including solution shaping, proposals, and client presentations
  
• Provide thought leadership on emerging cloud trends, FinOps, and hybrid/multi-cloud strategies
  

Required Experience

• 8–12+ years in IT, with strong focus on cloud architecture or consulting
  
• Proven experience across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP (multi-cloud exposure preferred)
  
• Background in cloud migration projects and enterprise-scale transformations
  
• Strong consulting experience with client-facing advisory responsibilities
  
• Experience working with executive stakeholders and translating technical concepts into business value
  
• Understanding of cloud governance, security frameworks, and compliance standards
  

Technical Skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform
  
• Cloud architecture design (landing zones, hybrid cloud, microservices, etc.)
  
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
  
• DevOps and CI/CD concepts
  
• Security & identity management in cloud environments
  
• FinOps / cloud cost optimisation principles
  
• Networking and enterprise infrastructure fundamentals
