Group Retail Manager – Graskop

We are seeking an experienced Group Retail Manager to oversee multiple FMCG retail stores in the Sabie region. The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader with proven multi‑store management experience, excellent financial acumen, and the ability to drive performance in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all stores and ensure adherence to company standards.
• Implement and monitor operational plans, merchandising, hygiene, and stock controls.
• Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food regulations.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and cost control.
• Analyse financial reports, shrinkage, stock variances, and GP performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Store Managers and department heads.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Ensure excellent customer service across all stores.
• Manage stock levels, replenishment, supplier relationships, and shrinkage control.
• Enforce company policies, security protocols, and loss‑prevention measures.
• Oversee store maintenance, equipment, and asset protection.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Matric (required)
• Diploma/Degree in Retail or Business Management (advantageous)

Experience

• 5–7 years retail management experience (FMCG preferred)
• Proven multi‑store or large-format retail management experience
• Strong financial and commercial decision-making skills

Working Conditions
