About the Project Manager Role – Project Manager Jobs in Lusaka Based at the Territorial Headquarters in Lusaka, the Project Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership and successful delivery of CCRAP.

This contract position is for one year, renewable based on performance, and requires approximately 40% travel to rural project sites. The role demands a proactive leader with extensive experience in managing donor-funded agriculture or community development projects.

Key Responsibilities Coordinate all aspects of project planning, implementation, and monitoring to ensure timely and effective delivery. Manage project data, documentation, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with donor requirements.

Supervise project staff, monitor performance, and support professional development. Oversee project budgets, contracts, and financial reporting in collaboration with the Finance Team.

Develop detailed implementation plans aligned with project objectives and expected outcomes. Engage and manage relationships with local stakeholders, government institutions, NGOs, and development partners.

Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports. Attend project and board meetings, providing comprehensive updates and recommendations.

Assess the performance of Monitoring & Evaluation Officers, Community Development Officers, and Field Officers. Document lessons learned, success stories, and best practices to inform future programming.

Supervise contractors and certify completion of contracted works. Minimum Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Project Management, Development Studies, Natural Resource Management, or related fields.

Proven experience managing donor-funded agriculture or community development projects. Strong skills in project planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

Demonstrated leadership ability, budgeting expertise, and contract management experience. Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and report writing capabilities.
