Job Summary
Working under the overall guidance and direct supervision of the Project Manager, the Accountant, primary responsibility is to support the project team regarding cash management, compliance, payments, reports and any other duties related to the project.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities.
Ensure effective financial running and rigorous financial control management and process disciplines;
Review supporting documents for payments and prepare payment voucher and check after approval.
Ensure that all payments to and by the organization are affected in accordance with the organization rules/regulations;
Conduct budget monitoring and proper utilization of funds at field project office;
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation, periodic financial report and facilitate budget transfer for projects;
Prepare project cash needs for project sites and follow appropriate and timely disbursements;
Submit complete financial documents to country office on timely manner;
Ensure settlement of advances on timely manner before the end of the month;
Effect the payment of income tax and pension to government office before deadline;
Support different project agreements and or contracts (service, purchase and vehicle, etc.);
Lead all Financial management and purchasing issues with collaboration of other team members;
Perform other financial and organizational assignments from the project manager.
Term of Employment: One year, with a possibility of extension
