Procurement and Import Officer

Ethio Lift Manufacturing PLC is seeking a qualified Procurement and Import Officer to manage the purchasing of elevator equipment, spare parts, and related materials from foreign and local suppliers.

The employee will receive purchase requests and technical specifications from the engineering, sales, installation, and maintenance departments; request quotations from suppliers; compare commercial offers; prepare purchase orders; and follow up production, packing, shipment, and delivery.

The position also requires regular communication with international suppliers, freight forwarders, banks, customs agents, insurance companies, and internal departments. The employee will maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports on orders, shipments, supplier performance, costs, and delivery status.
