Personnel Officer
Department: Administration/ Human Resources
Location: Koysha Hydroelectric Power Project Site, Southwest Ethiopia Regional State, Konta Zone, Ethiopia
Reports To: HR Manager / Personnel Manager

Job Purpose

To provide efficient personnel and administrative support to employees at the Koysha Hydroelectric Power Project, ensuring that employee records, travel arrangements, attendance, documentation and other HR processes are properly managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage air-ticket bookings, flight changes and employee travel records.
• Monitor annual leave balances, departure dates and return dates.
• Prepare family transfer, invitation, confirmation and other employee support letters.
• Monitor passports, visas, residence permits, work permits and other required employee documents.
• Maintain accurate employee attendance records.
• Update employee information in HR software, databases and physical files.
• Organize and maintain confidential personnel files and documentation.
• Conduct employee induction and onboarding activities.
• Prepare and distribute internal HR communications, notices and reminders.
• Follow up on missing, incomplete or expired employee documents.
• Support employee mobilization, demobilization and transfers between projects or work locations.
• Coordinate with employees and relevant departments on personnel-related matters.
• Perform any other personnel administration duties assigned by the HR Manager.
