Job Description

  • The Payments and Settlements Officer is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including payments, fund transfers, settlements, and reconciliations. 
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial instruments, settlement cycles, and regulatory requirements within the asset management industry. 
  • This role involves working closely with internal teams, custodians, financial institutions, and counterparties to maintain efficient cash flow management while ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational guidelines. 
  • This position requires expertise in payment execution, fund transfers, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance, ensuring seamless financial operations and mitigating risks in transactions.
  • Qualifications
  • First Degree in any related discipline
  • 1-2 years post-NYSC experience 
  • Experience in a financial services is an added advantage
  • Experience in payments, settlements, or financial operations within the asset management or banking sector. Knowledge of relevant industry sector; Financial Reporting; Audit; Advanced and Basic Microsoft office skills
