As a Mine Supervisor, Hauling, you will be responsible for managing daily hauling operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supporting continuous improvement in productivity and cost control.

This full-time position plays a key role in driving operational excellence and safety at our Kalumbila mine. Key Responsibilities for Mine Supervisor Hauling Jobs in Kalumbila Supervise and coordinate all hauling operations, ensuring adherence to mining legislation, explosives regulations, and company safety policies.

Execute daily operational plans safely, efficiently, and within established timeframes and performance standards. Plan and organize production and development activities on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis to meet operational targets.

Manage personnel, mobile equipment, and resources to optimize productivity and operational efficiency. Promote discipline, accountability, and high-performance standards to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Coach, mentor, and develop team members to build competency and support succession planning. Oversee hauling fleets, crushers, and in-pit stockpile activities to ensure safe and effective material movement.

Monitor compliance with equipment logbook requirements and maintain accurate operational records. Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions to sustain safe and reliable operations.

Support the Production Coordinator and contribute to achieving departmental and site production goals. Essential Qualifications and Competencies Full Grade 12 Certificate and a Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or related field.

Valid Blasting License and Explosives Handling Certificate issued by the relevant Zambian authorities. Valid Driver’s License; First Aid Certificate is advantageous.

All academic qualifications must be verified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA). Strong knowledge of truck fleet utilization, equipment optimization, and mine haul road geometry.

Effective workforce planning, scheduling, and coordination skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a mining environment. Competency in safety management systems, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and mine management systems. Behavioral Attributes and Professional Skills Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.

Professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all aspects of work. Effective multitasking, conflict resolution, and active listening skills.

Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to operational demands. Strong team player with public speaking and delegation skills.
