Are you passionate about empowering clients to achieve their financial goals? We’re seeking a dynamic Merchant Acquisition Sales and Sales Coordinator to deliver personalized, value-driven solutions that make a real difference. This role is responsible for driving merchants acquiring sales and providing post-sale support across all merchant service channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting the set targets for sales for POS, mPOS, eCommerce and Soft POS
  • Meeting the set targets for merchant Sales Value, revenue and active POS rate
  • Speedy resolution of all merchant queries and requests
  • Meeting the targets for merchant engagements
  • Timely submission of call reports
  • Merchant acquisition growth (%)
  • Activation rate & time-to-first transaction
  • Merchant retention / churn rate
  • Portfolio transaction growth (volume & value)
  • Revenue per merchant
  • SLA adherence & issue resolution time
  • Merchant satisfaction


Technical Skills & Competence:

  • Business Development & Lead Conversion – Ability to identify, qualify, and convert merchant prospects into active clients
  • Merchant Acquisition Expertise – Strong understanding of onboarding merchants across POS, e-commerce, and mobile payment solutions
  • Cross-selling & Upselling Capabilities – Driving revenue growth by promoting value-added services (VAS), devices, and payment solutions
  • Pipeline Management & Forecasting – Tracking opportunities and managing a solid sales pipeline to meet targets
  • Customer Needs Analysis – Assessing merchant business requirements and recommending tailored acquiring solutions
  • Negotiation & Closing Skills – Structuring deals and successfully closing agreements with merchants
  • Market Intelligence & Competitor Awareness – Monitoring pricing, offerings, and positioning to stay competitive
  • Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking – Preparing accurate sales reports and tracking KPIs

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales/Marketing or related fields
  • At least 2 years working experience.
  • A full Grade 12 certificate with credits or better in English and Mathematics.
  • Proven hands-on experience in both sales and customer service environments
