Role Summary

  • As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and availability of production and utility equipment through preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
  • You will support manufacturing operations by minimizing equipment downtime, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on production and utility equipment
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they result in operational downtime
  • Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, compressors, generators, and other utility systems
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts usage, and equipment performance records accurately
  • Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with cGMP, safety, and company procedures
  • Support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation activities
  • Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to ensure equipment readiness and operational efficiency
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring equipment failures
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • OND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, FMCG, or manufacturing industry is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and maintenance documentation practices
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and electrical schematics

  • Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet maintenance deadlines
