The Logistics Manager will also ensure that the daily logistics operations throughout the farm are handled seamlessly.
Minimum qualification, skills and requirements:
- 5 years logistics management experience, ideally within the fresh produce industry.
- Degree or diploma in logistics management or similar qualification.
- Strong leadership skills are required to co-ordinate and manage all truck drivers and their assistants on a daily basis.
- Strong administrative and computer skills are essential.
- Mechanical knowledge will be favourable.
- The ability to plan ahead and implement preventative maintenance schedules on trucks & trailers.
- Excellent people management skills.
The proven ability to work under pressure.
