Your role:
Reports to: Senior Logistics Associate
- The role holder will support the day-to-day warehouse and dispatch operations by assisting with inventory management, order fulfillment, stock tracking, and delivery coordination.
- The role provides hands-on experience in warehouse and logistics operations while contributing to accurate, efficient, and timely execution of operational activities in line with Tushop's policies and procedures.
- The intern is expected to actively learn, take ownership of assigned tasks, and continuously develop the practical skills and knowledge required to support the logistics function effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with receiving, storing, organizing, and issuing inventory in accordance with established procedures.
- Support inventory management by conducting stock counts, recording stock movements, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Assist in preparing customer orders by picking, packing, and dispatching products accurately and within the required timelines.
- Support the coordination and monitoring of deliveries, maintain relevant logistics documentation, and report any delays or operational issues.
- Conduct quality checks on products during receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch, and promptly escalate any quality or inventory concerns.
- Update inventory and logistics information in the relevant systems and prepare basic operational reports as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by adhering to company policies, operational procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance warehouse organization, inventory control, and logistics processes.
- Perform any other duties as assigned to support the effective and efficient operation of the logistics function.
