This is a live-in, hands-on leadership role that calls for a dynamic, passionate couple who can seamlessly balance exceptional guest hosting with the day-to-day operational demands of a luxury lodge. The ideal couple will complement each other’s strengths, with partner 1 leading from the field and partner 2 anchoring the lodge operations, together creating the warm, personalised atmosphere that defines the exceptional guest experience associated with the property. Working closely with the General Manager, the couple will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards across all departments, leading and motivating a dedicated team, and ensuring that every guest leaves with memories that last a lifetime. This role requires individuals who are self-driven, solution-oriented, and thrive in a remote, off-the-grid environment where no two days are the same. General Requirements • Minimum 5 years’ experience in 5-star properties • Own transport • Valid driver’s licence (essential) • Strong team management and time management skills • Creative; out-of-the-box thinking with the ability to think on their feet • Able to work independently without supervision • Outgoing personalities with strong guest engagement and hosting skills Position Requirements – Partner 1 • FGASA Level 1 Marine to be completed within 6 months of employment) – all guiding qualifications must be up to date and valid • First Aid Level 1 • Strong maintenance and vehicle maintenance skills • Excellent hosting skills • Fluent in English (spoken and written) • Basic HR knowledge • Valid PDP Position Requirements – Partner 2 • Strong hosting skills • All-rounder knowledge across departments (advantageous) • PAN knowledge (essential) • Computer literacy (MS Office) • Basic HR knowledge • Strong administrative skills • Fluent in English (spoken and written) • Driver’s licence (advantageous) Package Includes • Market-related salary • Accommodation • Food allowance (company-funded) • Work cycle: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off • 21 days annual leave • Uniform provided • Provident fund (after 3 months) • 13th cheque (dependent on company performance) • No children allowed Salary – On application ➡️ PLEASE NOTE – Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who meet the relevant experience and requirements for this position.
