Employment Information

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation and cooking activities.
  • Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen procedures.
  • Wash, peel, cut, and portion food items as required
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
  • Wash dishes and ensure proper sanitation standards are maintained.
  • Assist with stocking and organising kitchen inventory.
  • Ensure food storage areas are properly maintained.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy periods.
  • Dispose of waste properly and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
  • Report equipment faults or kitchen issues promptly.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of SSCE qualification.
  • Previous kitchen or food service experience is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully.

Remuneration: NGN 70,000-180,000
