Position Details
- Location: Assosa, Ethiopia
- Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Report To: Primary School Deputy Principal & KG Coordinators
- Works Closely With: Education Program Team, and fellow teaching staff
Open Kindergarten Positions:
- KG Coordinator – Lead the kindergarten section and mentor the teaching team
- KG Main Teacher – Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and foster holistic development
- KG Assistant Teacher – Support classroom activities, child care, and learning environments
What You'll Do
As KG Coordinator:
- Oversee all KG operations, ensuring curriculum quality and staff support
- Mentor KG teachers and coordinate with the school leadership team
- Ensure inclusive, child-centered learning experiences
As KG Main Teacher:
- Plan and teach creative, play-based lessons that build core early learning skills
- Create a safe and engaging classroom environment
- Track student development and engage families in the learning process
As KG Assistant Teacher:
- Support the main teacher in lesson delivery and classroom routines
- Help maintain a warm, organized, and child-friendly environment
- Assist with hygiene, materials preparation, and activity facilitation
