A leading food manufacturer is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager with a strong background in the fruit & vegetable category to manage strategic retail and food service accounts across South Africa.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Minimum 4 years' experience in fresh produce or frozen fruit & vegetable sales
• Proven Key Account Management experience within the food service or retail sector
• Understanding of the fresh and frozen fruit & vegetable supply chain, product lifecycle, and seasonal market dynamics
• Existing relationships with major retail or food service buying groups
• Own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key customer accounts
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market share
• Develop strategic account plans to achieve sales and margin targets
• Conduct regular customer visits and maintain strong client relationships
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and account performance reviews
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and delivery
