Junior Interior Designer

The Interior Designer will be responsible for the overall design and execution of showroom and client space planning projects. This includes conceptualizing, planning, and managing design initiatives from the initial client meeting to the final installation phase.

1.      Strategically arrange furniture to maximize the use of available space while maintaining an open, inviting layout.

2.      Ensure proper flow and movement throughout the showroom.

3.      Style furniture and accessories to create cohesive, appealing displays.

4.      Use color schemes, lighting, and decor to highlight furniture features.

5.      Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and project goals.

6.      Provide expert advice on design concepts, materials, color schemes, and space utilization.

7.      Develop and present mood boards and sketches for client approval.

8.      Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketch Up).

9.      Plan and optimize space layouts, ensuring functionality and aesthetic appeal.

10.   Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers to align on project requirements.

11.   Supervise construction and installation phases to ensure compliance with design plans.

12.   Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.

13.   Address unexpected challenges or delays effectively to keep the project on track.

14.   Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, and innovations.

15.   Ensure designs comply with building codes, accessibility standards, and safety regulations.

16.   Maintain awareness of sustainable practices and integrate eco-friendly solutions when possible.
