Junior Electrical/ Mechanical Engineers

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Junior Electrical/Mechanical Engineers based for one of our client in Kuwait. The role involves supporting engineering projects from concept to completion, including assisting with design, analysis, and documentation for mechanical and electrical systems. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing technical drawings, performing calculations, contributing to research and development activities, and participating in machine and component design. The engineer will collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure that projects meet technical specifications, safety standards, and timelines. The role also involves troubleshooting equipment issues, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and maintaining clear technical reports and records.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering principles, with the ability to apply them in practical, on-site project environments.
• Proficiency in Machine Design and Research and Development (R&D), including basic analysis, testing, and iterative improvement of components and systems.
• Hands-on experience or training in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for creating and modifying technical drawings and models.
• Basic Project Management skills, including task planning, time management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards; familiarity with safety and quality practices in engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and readiness to learn under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, and willingness to work on-site in Accra as part of a dynamic project team.
