Instrument & Control Lead Engineer

Job Description :

• Engineering management and reporting

• Site surveys and handling of technical issues

• Confirmed PC&C knowledge

• Instrumentation engineering document development and/or update, including but not limited to:

• Specifications and philosophies

• Data sheet,

• Drawings and Hook ups

• Index and I/O lists

• Calculation notes for sizing of instruments and valves

• Bill of materials

• …etc

• Review of the above documents prepared by other engineers and subcontractors

• Review documents from other disciplines (P&ID, Cause and Effect, 3D models, etc.).

• Technical Bid Evaluation of supplier proposals for :

• Field instruments, analyzers and detectors

• Control valves, ON-OFF valves, PSV and throttle valves

• Control panels and systems

• Skids

• Review of supplier documentation for instrumentation and control equipment

• Active participation in HAZOP/WHAT-IF/SIL … etc Sessions

• Knowledge of software: AutoCAD 2D, Ms Office, Ms Project.
