Our UK-based client, operating in the pottery and ceramics e-commerce industry, is seeking to appoint an Inbound Sales Agent to join their remote team.
IMPORTANT: Experience in the pottery and/or ceramics industry is NON-NEGOTIABLE.
Candidates must have a solid understanding of pottery processes, ceramic materials, equipment, and related products to be considered.
This is a fully remote role and requires a reliable home office setup.
A strong appreciation for pottery and ceramics, along with practical industry knowledge, is essential to effectively support customers and deliver an informed sales experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1–2 years of inbound sales or customer service experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a clear and confident phone manner.
- Proficient in using CRM platforms and online communication tools.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Reliable internet connection and quiet, professional workspace for remote work.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and objection-handling abilities.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and online chat in a professional and efficient manner.
- Convert inbound leads into confirmed sales through active listening and persuasive communication.
- Provide accurate information on products, pricing, and promotions.
- Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and stay informed about policies and procedures.
- Record all customer interactions and sales accurately within the CRM system.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues and team leaders to improve sales techniques and enhance the customer experience.
- Manage post-sale follow-ups and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new customers.
