GENERAL REQUIREMENTS – BOTH POSITIONS

Successful candidates must:

• Be physically and medically fit to work in a mining environment.
• Provide a valid Medical Fitness Certificate as required by the Company.
• Provide a valid Police Clearance Certificate.
• Be willing to work underground, on-site and in operational areas, where applicable.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards.
• Comply with all Company safety rules, procedures, PPE requirements and site regulations.
• Demonstrate good discipline, teamwork, communication, integrity and work ethics.
• Be able to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced mining environment.
• Possess a valid National Registration Card (NRC) and provide certified copies of relevant qualifications.
• Be willing to undergo reference checks and other pre-employment screening.
• Have previous experience in a mining, construction, engineering or industrial environment where applicable.
• Demonstrate commitment to environmental protection and responsible mining practices.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, selection, onboarding and employee administration.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Support payroll, attendance and timesheet administration.
• Provide HR advisory services to employees and line management.
• Implement HR policies, procedures and Company initiatives.
• Support performance management, training and employee development.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Zambian labour legislation and statutory requirements.
• Maintain HR databases.

Skills

• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration or a related field.
• Practical experience in employee relations, disciplinary procedures and grievance handling.
• Good knowledge of Zambian labour laws and employment practices.
• ZIHRM membership is a Must.
