Key Responsibilities

• Manage the RT, ERP and Crisis Management Plans, supporting the Company HSSE Manager in its testing and execution.
• Develop fit-for-purpose Emergency Response Plans for all Road Transport and Depot Operations and plan their testing and execution.
• Assist the contractors to develop and manage a fit-for-purpose HSSE Management System, implement it, and prepare the legal register.
• Monitor the implementation of Group Standards.
• Support the depot team in developing and maintaining the HSSE aspects of the depot operating procedures.
• Play a leading role in reporting, investigations, and report writing for all incidents in the line of business, and keep a Remedial Action Plan tracking system.

Requirements

• Incident management.
• Strong people management skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Good understanding of Risk Management Framework.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related field.3+ years post-qualification relevant work experience.
• Sound knowledge of Road Transport Operations and Depot Operations.
• Understanding of HSSE Issues and Practices.
• Demonstrated ability in managing change and relationships with people, especially Government bodies and other key stakeholders.
• Professional training in process safety and risk management will be an added advantage.
• Valid Driver's License.
