This is a dual-function role suited to someone who takes genuine pride in presentation and hospitality, blending hands-on housekeeping with professional spa treatments. The ideal candidate is mature, self-driven, detail-orientated, and comfortable living and working in a remote bush setting.
Core Criteria:
- 5-8 years' housekeeping experience at a commercial property (minimum 10 beds)
- 3-6 years' spa therapy experience; a recognised qualification advantageous
- Exceptional English fluency, written and spoken, essential and non-negotiable
- South African citizen or valid work authorisation
- Clear criminal record, with strong, verifiable employment history
- Must be able to arrange reliable transport to and from a remote location (a transport plan will be requested at interview if you do not own a vehicle suited to dirt roads)
- Computer literacy a strong advantage
- Good physical stamina and strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working and living in a remote, rural environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver consistently clean, beautifully presented guest rooms, including daily servicing, turn-downs, deep cleans, and departure cleans
- Maintain room amenities, linen presentation, and overall guest comfort
- Report maintenance issues promptly and respond to guest requests professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation across all shared guest spaces
- Support daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, and linen rotation
- Provide professional spa treatments, maintaining a calm and relaxing guest experience
- Maintain spa equipment, treatment space readiness, and assist with bookings
- Promote spa services and products to guests
- Assist Front of House or Butler teams during busy periods when required
- Support basic administrative duties, including stock checks and simple record-keeping
On Offer:
- Salary: dependent on experience
- Spa treatments remunerated on a commission basis, in addition to base salary

- Live-in position: private bedroom in staff housing, with communal bathroom and kitchen facilities
