Job Details

Organization: North Western Provincial Health Office (CDC/PEPFAR Project)

Responsibilities or duties

  • Strengthen prevention efforts for populations vulnerable to HIV and TB by supporting prevention program design and implementation .
  • Coordinate the development of programs/interventions and activities targeting vulnerable populations .
  • Liaise with government counterparts for the inclusion of HIV, STI, and TB prevention in programs designed for various vulnerable groups .
  • Collaborate with program implementers and partners to devise approaches to increase HIV/STI/TB screening and linkage to treatment and care .
  • Assist with the development and placement of campaigns to improve knowledge and reduce risk behaviors among vulnerable populations .

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Relevant Grade 12 School Certificate
  • Relevant Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification for the position applied for
  • Valid registration and practising licence with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
  • Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills
  • ZAQA-verified academic qualifications will be an added advantage
