THE ROLE
The Head of School will provide strategic, academic, operational, and cultural leadership across the school, ensuring excellence in:
- Teaching and learning Early Years and Primary education Staff performance and development Parent engagement and communication School culture and wellbeing School systems and operations Enrollment growth and reputation building
The successful candidate will work closely with the Founder and leadership team to build a high-performing school community that inspires trust, excellence, creativity, and long-term impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Academic Leadership
- Lead and improve teaching and learning quality Ensure curriculum excellence and consistency Support child-centered and developmentally appropriate practices Monitor academic standards and student progress Strengthen classroom effectiveness and learning outcomes
Staff Leadership & Development
- Inspire, mentor, and develop teachers and staff Build a positive, collaborative, and accountable school culture Conduct classroom observations and performance reviews Lead professional development initiatives Promote staff wellbeing and professional growth
Parent & Community Engagement
- Build strong relationships with parents and families Ensure excellent communication and parent experience Strengthen school reputation and community trust Support parent engagement initiatives and school events
Operations & School Management
- Oversee smooth daily school operations Strengthen systems, structure, and accountability Ensure safeguarding, safety, and compliance standards Support admissions, retention, and enrollment growth Maintain high standards of professionalism and organization

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
- Minimum of 5–10 years progressive educational leadership experience
- Experience leading an Early Years and/or Primary School
- Strong understanding of modern teaching and learning practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
- Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field
- Experience with British, Montessori, Nigerian, IB, or blended curriculum systems International school leadership exposure
- Experience supporting school growth and admissions
