Our client, a well-established OEM manufacturing business based in Silverton, is looking to appoint a Group Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function and contribute to the next phase of the company's growth. This is a high-impact executive role offering the opportunity to partner with the Board, strengthen commercial performance, and lead a dynamic finance team through continued expansion.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop and execute the Group's financial strategy in line with business objectives.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive leadership team and Board.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and long-term business planning.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, currently comprising eight direct reports, with further expansion planned.
- Optimise cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.
- Strengthen governance, compliance, risk management, and internal controls.
- Deliver commercial insights that support operational efficiency and profitability.
- Manage relationships with auditors, financial institutions, and key external stakeholders.
What we're looking for:
Qualifications:- CA(SA) preferred.
- CIMA will be considered with relevant executive-level manufacturing experience.
Experience:- 8–10 years in senior financial leadership roles.
- Proven OEM manufacturing experience is essential.
- Demonstrated success leading large finance teams.
- Executive-level business partnering and strategic leadership experience.
- Strong commercial and operational finance expertise.
Technical Skills:- Syspro experience is essential.
- Excellent financial planning, reporting, and analytical capability.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence strategic decisions across the business.
