Core Criteria:

• Proven experience in a similar griller or grill station role essential
• Strong knowledge of meat cuts, cooking temperatures, and grill techniques
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure during busy service periods
• Excellent attention to detail in food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Sound knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness standards
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to maintain consistent standards across all service periods
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Flexible and willing to work split shifts and extended hours as required

• Manage and run the grill station to a consistently high standard across all service periods
• Prepare and cook all grilled items to the correct temperature, specification, and presentation standard
• Ensure all mise en place is prepared, organised, and ready for service at all times
• Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards throughout the grill station and surrounding areas
• Monitor portion control and actively work to minimise food wastage
• Communicate effectively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and seamless service
• Assist with stock control and report any shortages to senior kitchen staff timeously
• Maintain all equipment within the section and report any faults promptly
