Job Details
The General Ledger Manager oversees all general ledger activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective management of month-end and year-end close processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting strategic decision-making.
 
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the general ledger and chart of accountsLead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processesEnsure accurate and timely financial reportingReview and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustmentsMaintain compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) or GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)Prepare and review financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)Coordinate with internal and external auditorsEnsure compliance with tax regulations and internal controlsAnalyze financial data and provide insights to managementSupervise and mentor accounting staffImprove and streamline accounting processes and systems
