Supervise and coordinate daily vehicle body repair, metal fabrication, and workshop activities.
Prepare mechanical designs, fabrication drawings, and blueprints for vehicle body and metal fabrication projects using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
Interpret customer requirements, technical specifications, and engineering drawings to produce accurate fabrication drawings.
Develop new vehicle body components, tools, and fabrication solutions as required.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material estimates, and production plans.
Monitor fabrication and repair work to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Inspect completed products and verify conformity with approved drawings and specifications.
Troubleshoot design and fabrication issues and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain design records, technical documentation, inspection reports, and workshop documentation.
Train, guide, and supervise workshop technicians to ensure efficient performance.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools, equipment, and machinery.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
