TIMRAN is a membership-based organization where the higher organ of the organization is the general assembly.

Job Summary

The Financial Associate is responsible for supporting the finance department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing financial transactions, preparing reports, assisting with budgeting, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable accounting standards. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and journal entries. 
  • Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation. 
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. 
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts. 
  • Support budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis. 
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. 
  • Assist with payroll processing and related reconciliations, where applicable. 
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and applicable accounting standards. 
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records. 
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation. 
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with financial forecasting. 
  • Prepare statutory and management reports as assigned. 
  • Coordinate with banks, vendors, and other stakeholders on financial matters. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls. 
  • Perform other finance and administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
